Restarting the Viveka Bharati Quarterly Magazine

After Nellore unit stopped publishing Telugu quarterly bulletin Viveka Bharathi in 1994 its responsibility has been taken over by Visakhapatnam unit in January 1995 but it is being published regularly from August 2012 only for various reasons and continued till 2018. Publishing of this bulletin has been done by Sri N.Lakshminarayana, Sri Bachina Sreedhar, Sri P.Ravi Chandra and P.V.Yeswanth. 

    Now Vivek Bharati is being published(only digital/soft copy) with July to September edition.

 'విశాఖపట్నం వివేకానంద యువ మహామండలి' వారు ప్రతివారం నిర్వహించే  'వివేకానంద అధ్యయన మండలి'లలో పాల్గొను   యువకులు కొందరు' శ్రీ వివేకానందస్వామి సాహిత్యంలోని ప్రధాన అంశాలను (చికాగో ఉపన్యాసములు, నాలుగు యోగాలు, సందేశ  తరంగిణి, లేఖావళి మొ||నవి ) ఒకటి తరువాత ఒకటిగా ఆడియో రూపంలో అందించుటకు ముందుకు వచ్చారు. 

దీని గురించి 'శ్రీ వివేకానంద శంఖారావం' అనే గ్రూపును సెప్టెంబర్ 11 న(స్వామీజీ  చికాగోలో మొదటి ఉపన్యాసం ఇచ్చిన రోజు) ప్రారంభించాము. 

శ్రీ మల్లెంపాటి వంశీ  చికాగో ఉపన్యాసములను ఆ రోజు నుంచి వినిపిస్తున్నారు. 

దీని గురించి మనం ప్రారంభించిన జట్టు నిండినందున 'శ్రీ వివేకానంద శంఖారావం 2' అనే రెండవ జట్టును ప్రారంభిస్తున్నాం.

On the event of Jagadguru Shankaracharya’s Jayanthi on 27.04-2020, 22 needy people of Muralinagar (mostly elders and watchmen) were identified and provided with rice and essentials at Prasanthi Spiritual Park, Muralinagar.

Restarting the On Line version of study circle from 30.03.2020

A On Line version of study circle has been started from today 8 pm to 9 pm.

It is good that today  7 members of VVYM and one member from Nellore joined the trial event with Zoom App.Call to the nation quote(take up one idea) was discussed at length with some examples.
Common modalities discussed and there is a proposal from all participants to continue it daily for minimum 2 weeks from 8 pm to 9 pm.Accordingly some topics selected and will be shared.

As the Zoom App has some security issues, we are using Skype now

Restarting of Vivek Vahini (Bala Vihar )

 *On the auspicious occasion of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa's 185th birthday, Vivek Vahini (Bala Vihar ) was restarted for children(Age group 5 12 years).This activity will be continued on every sunday from 10 am to 11 am.

Imparting Value based education with Slokas, Story Telling and Mahamandal methods etc., will be done.

Swami Vivekananda statue was garlanded on 12.01.2020, Sunday morning after decorating Swami Vivekananda Mandapam. VVYM members and Yoga Batch people attended.

VVYM Members in good number participated in the Vivek Shobha Yatra and Public Meeting organized by RK Mission Ashrama, Visakhapatnam (Forenoon Session). VVYM members took active role in telling the slogans.

National Youth Day Rally was organised by VVYM in Muralinagar in the evening from 5 pm to 6 pm. The rally took place from Swami Vivekananda Mandapam (via Khasyap Junction), Pattabhireddy Thota and back to Swami Vivekananda Mandapam.

Swami Swasamvedyanandaji Maharaj, RK Mission Ashrama, Visakhapatnam garlanded the Swamiji Statue. Public Meeting held (6 pm to 8.15 pm) in  Sri Vyasam Sree Rama Murthy Prasanthi Spiritual Park, Muralinagar, Visakhapatnam.Sri K.Ch.Naidu,Yoga Teacher of the park presided the meeting. Swami Swasamvedyanandaji Maharaj gave an inspiring lecture on Swami Vivekananda’s life and message with emphasis on Ideal for Youth and how to utilise modern gadgets like Mobile.

Inspiring Speech was given by Sri Attada Vijay (USA) who is eldest son of most respected Sri Attada Narasimha Murthy garu (AGM guest speaker at Goorkha Line) and elder brother of Sri Attada Sanjay who is our member since 1990 (Sri Sanjay  has organised a workshop on Yoga and Pranayama  in our SV Mandapam on January 26^th, 2016). Techno Village Ganesh explained how he was inspired by Swami  Vivekananda and he briefed about Village development work being done by his team keeping Swamiji as role model.Sri Vyasam Hanumantharao (Younger brother of Sri Vyasam Sree Rammurthy) asked the youngmen to utilise the park for noble works.

Ethics Academy students  performed the Cultural activities in an  innovative way with the guidance of Smt Nirmala Madam.

Prizes were distributed to the winners in' Written exam  on the Chicago Speech 125^th special issue of Sri Ramakrishna Prabha(Telugu Magazine of Ramakrishna Math,Sept,2019). The written examination was  mainly conducted by Chy Mohan,Chy Simhadri and Chy Srikanth. The prizes were sponsored by VVYM senior member Sri Lakshmi Perumal.

The NYD event was managed by Sri Mullapudi Akhil Kumar. Vote of Thanks was given by Sri N. Lakshminarayana.

Around 120 persons attended the programme. Programme ended with National Anthem.

Prasad was distributed at the end.
