RK Mission Clothes Distribution Work

  VVYM distributed around 200 shirts,pants and swetters supplied by RK Mission Ashrama,Visakhapatnam at BC Boys hostel.Pendurthi, Muralinagar Prasanthi Park area,Adavivaram Gurukula Patasala,Manasu Care center in February,2016.  

SRK and SD Birth Day Celebrations (Draft)

On   01.01.2016,Holy Mother's 162^nd Birth anniversary and Kalapataru Day celebrated.Mother's statue was garlanded in the morning and some storas recited.Evening Aratrikam and life of Holy Mother and some incidents were told by Sri N.Lakshminarayana.

On 12.03.2016, Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa’s 181^st  birthday was observed at Prasanthi Spiritual Park . Sri Ramakrishna statue was garlanded in the morining.Aratrikam performed in the evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.Sri KBN Varma garu explained the central theme of SRK teachings in a very simple and interesting way.Sri Dwadasi Subramanya Sarma also spoke.

- A bookstall on Swami Vivekananda literature was arranged.

14th Vivek Voluntary Blood Donation camp on 31.01.2016 (Draft)

As a part of Swami Vivekananda's 154th birth anniversary, Visakhapatnam Vivekananda Yuva Mahamandal (VVYM) organised its 14th 'Vivek Voluntary Blood Donation Camp' on 31-01-2016, Sunday (SWAMI VIVEKANANDA'S THITHI PUJA DAY) from 8 a.m. To 1 p.m. At Prasanthi Spiritual Park, Muralinagar.
- Sri Majety Raghuramarao (Founder of Vasantham Voluntary Organisation ) inaugurated the Blood                       

  Donation Camp.
- 36 units of Blood was collected by AS Raja Voluntary blood bank.
- Employees of The Andhra Petrochemicals Ltd, College Students, RK Mission devotees and members  

  of VVYM donated blood.
-Swami Vivekananda literature  and Vivek Bheri Calenders were  given to the blood donors.
- A bookstall on Swami Vivekananda literature was arranged.

Work Shop on Yoga and Pranayama on 23.01.2016(Draft)

           Work shop on Yoga and Pranayama was organised on 26.01.2016 at Swami Vivekananda Mandapam from 4 pm to 7 pm.Sri Attada Sanjay took the class.Mr Sanjay is a VVYM member since his AU College days (Mech Engg.,1990-94). After moving to USA he became disciple of Poojya Swami Buaji for 12 Years & travelled with him in USA and has been giving several Yoga demos.He has taken classes in the first International Yoga Day in New York where our Indian External Affairs Minister was  the chief guest. His Yoga demonstrations are covered in SUN TV, CNN, NBC, CUNY, NY Times, Daily News and other news and media. He is currently the Director of enterprise services at Scholastic and also works as a consultant and architect for eCommerce and eBusinesses.  

National Youth Day Celebrations on 12.01.2016 (Draft)

 a)Swami Vivekananda statue was garlanded on 12.01.2016 morning after decorating Swami Vivekananda Mandapam.

           b)   VVYM volunteers carried out Reception and Crowd Control work at the National Youth Day Celebrations organised by Ramkrishna Misssion Ashrama,Visakhapatnam at Andhra University Convocation hall on 12^th January wherein Honorouble Chief Misnister of Andhra Pradesh Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu was the chief-guest.

            c)  National Youth Day Rally was organised by VVYM in Muralinagar in the evening.Swami Nityayoganandaji,RK Mission Ashrama,Visakhapatnam participated in the rally and garlanded Swamiji Statue.Public Meeting held in Prasanthi Spirtual Park. Sri Lekkala Demudu garu, Sri A.Sreenivas(VVYM) spoke about Swami Vivekananda.Sri N.Lakshminarayana told  the  activities VVYM doing at  PSP. Apporva School and Bhashyam  School Children performed the cultural activities.Prizes were distributed to the winners in' Memorize and Compete' competition.Prasad distributed.The NYD event was managed by Sri K.Madhavarao Naidu(EC Member) 

                   d)  Senior members of VVYM Sri P.Muni Swamy .Sri M.Govindarao,Sri D. Venkata Rao, Sri  T. Venkata Rao and Tuni Vasu participated in Youth motivation on  National Youth Day(12^th January,2016)  in 4 villages at Tuni District.(Around 100 Kms from Visakhapatnam).
