15th Vivek Voluntary Blood Donation Camp Organized by VVYM (DRAFT)

        As a part of Swami Vivekananda's 155th birth anniversary, Visakhapatnam Vivekananda Yuva Mahamandal (VVYM)  organised its 15th 'Vivek  Voluntary Blood Donation Camp' on 29-01-2017,Sunday from 8 a.m. To 1 p.m.  at AMAR CONCEPT SCHOOL,BESIDE ICICI BANK, OPP: INDIAN GAS GODOWN,NAD Jn,Butchirajupalem

                      Sri Amar (Director of a Amar Concept school) has inaugurated the Blood Donation Camp after garlanding Swami Vivekananda Statue in Swami Vivekananda Mandapam. Swadesimantra was recited by the member.

Total of 37 units of blood was collected by AS Raja Voluntary blood bank.

Employees of The Andhra Petrochemicals Ltd, College Students and members of VVYM donated blood.

      Swami Vivekananda literature was given to the blood donors.

      A bookstall on Swami Vivekananda literature was arranged.

VVYM Members participation at ABVYM 50th Annual Camp (Draft)

Total 20 members attended the ABVYM 50^th annual youth training camp held at Belur Math,,West Bengal. Every member inspired by the Mahamandal ideals and interacted with the other state mahamandal members.      

Holy Mother's Birth Day Celebration (Draft)

On 20.12.2016,Holy Mother's 163^nd Birth anniversary and Kalapataru Day celebrated.Mother's statue was garlanded in the morning and some storas recited.Evening Aratrikam and life of Holy Mother and some incidents were told by Sri N.Lakshminarayana.

Sri Nabhaniharn Mukhopadhyay Commemorative Program(Draft)

            A condolence prayer ( 3 minutes of Silence) for the deported soul of Sri Nabaniharan Mukhopadhyay (Founder of Akhil Bharat Vivekananda Yuva Mahamandal) was observed on 27th September at 7.00 pm in Swami Vivekananda Mandapam, Prasanthi Spiritual Park, Muralinagar. VVYM members and well-wishers have participated.

             Senior members Muni Swamy garu, B Sreedhar garu , Govinda raju garu, N Lakshmi Narayana garu , Venkata rao garu shared there memories about Nabaniharan Mukopadhyay 

On 26th September,2016 he left his mortal body at the age of around 89 years.He was a bachelor and lived a very simple life.Till last breath he lived  to propagate the Man-Making message of Swami Vivekananda.

                We pray the Almighty to keep his great soul rest in peace.

(Sri Nabaniharan  Mukhopadhyay is the founder of Akhil Bharat Vivekananda Yuva Mahamandal and has been inspiring  the young men of the country for the last 50 years.He authored several books on Character-Building,Mental Concentration, leadership and Nation-Building.He was the editor of ‘Vivek-Jivan’ magazine.He used to deliver inspiring lectures to the young men in several all India and regional youth training camps and answers questions raised by the campers).
