26th Formation Day of VVYM was observed on 06.11.2014
The 26th Formation Day of VVYM was observed on 06.11.2014,Friday(Karteeka Pournami Day) evening between 6.50 p.m. to 8.50 p.m.
The programme was started with Sri Ramakrishna Arathrikam,Sarada Stotram,Mahamandel Anthem,Swadeshi Mantra.
.VVYM Members shared their experiences with VVYM. Around 40 members and well wishers participated.
Sri KBN Varma garu and Sri PSN Raju explained the initial days of Mahamandal Movemment in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam.
Songs on Trinity were sung.
VVYM Executive meeting was also held.
Sakshi News special feature writer Sri Kasireddy Venkatarao took VVYM Members experiences and VVYM activities.
.Prasad was distributed in plate.

Service Activities of VVYM post Hudhud (Swatcha Bharat)
VVYM members carried out service activities after the devastating Hudhud Cyclone that touched Visakhapatnam on 12.10.2014.
VVYM Members along with Madhavdhara East Park members removed the fallen tree branches and leaves on 19.10.2014.
Voluntary work carried at Ajanta Park,Gopalapatnam with the help of Local Youth.
VVYM members in good numbers removed the fallen trees and tree branches in Prasanthi Park,Muralinagar.
Oor Secy,Sri D.Venkatarao met Visakhapatnam District Collector Sri N.Prithivraj Garu and took permission to do Swatcha Bharat work at Adavivaram Gurukula Patasala.Accordingly more than 20 VVYM members,Some Railway Employees and Ajantha Park youth worked effectively and removed fallen trees and tree branches with Power tools ,Generator supply and cleared the area on 02.11.2014.School children and some teachers took part in the service activity.

Best Performance of Aadavivaram Study Circle boy Chy Jagadish
Chy Jagadish of Adavivaram Study circle secured second prize in the Final round of Competitions organised by Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama,Visakhapatnam in connection with the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of the Ashrama.Total 22000 high school students participated in the first round in a exam conducted on The life and Message of Vivekananda.Around 200 students were short listed and final round of written and oral conducted on 07.09.2014.
Chy Jagadish fared well and secured a cash award of Rs 4000/-.Incidentally all winners were of rural back ground.
The knowledge and telugu reading style of this boy was observed and appreciated by Entire Executive body of VVYM during their interaction with him in the Special Study Circle conducted by VVYM in Adaviram Gurukula Patasala on 10.08.2014.
Sri D.Venkatarao,Secy,VVYM took great initiative and put good effort in taking the boy from the hstel to the final round of competitions.

Speacial Study Circle and VVYM EC meeting at Adavivaram on 10th Aug,2014
On 10.08.2014,Sunday a Special Study Circle was held at
Adavivaram Gurukula Patasala from 9.30 a.m.to 10.30 a.m. wherein rugular study
circle participants (more than 30 students) and VVYM Executive Members
participated.After reciting regular prayers, a portion from 'Mental Concentration:Why and
How'was read out and discussed .Swami Vivekananda quotes book was distributed
to the students.
Later VVYM Executive Committee Meeting was held which was
attended by 10 of 11 EC Members.

Mahamandal booklets and Vivek-Jivan should be
read in all study circles on priority.

Membership drive to be continued and should
reach 225+ by Nov,2014 from the present updated members list of 169.
·
To encourage teachers for RK Mission teachers
work shop on Value Education in Sept,14.
·
VVYM members should actively participate as volunteers in RK Mission Ashrama,Vizag Platinum Jubilee
celebrations from December 19th to December 21st ,2014.
·
Study circles average attendence to be increased
to 10+
·
To follow up former members for their rejoining.
·
To form sub-committees for conducting various
activities.
·
To start
Vivek Bharati personality development classes from Adavivaram school
itself.
·
To organise half-day sessions
·
To organise next year blood donation camp in
Muralinagar area in January/February
